Cuvée Claude Seigneuret
Appellation: Mâcon Villages Blanc
Orientation: South-facing exposures
Average age of vines: 90 years
Principal soil type: Clay & limestone above limestone base
Cuvée Claude Seigneuret is issued from 4 separate parcels, the oldest belonging to the domaine, planted by the founder of the domaine Claude Seigneuret in the year 1926.
Cuvée Claude Seigneuret maintains an emphasis on minerality and freshness owing to the close proximity of the vines with the mother limestone rock and gains in complexity, concentration and depth from the old-vine fruit. Barrel fermentation and aging support the concentrated fruit and add to the perception of roundness and depth. Cuvée Claude Seigneuret posseses extraordinary aging potential in white Burgundy at an exceptionally attractive price.
